The Hip Pocket, based in Grand Rapids, MI, has been entertaining crowds for over fifteen years.  The group performs at countless festivals, receptions, and corporate events each year and has opened for acts such as The Temptations, The Four Tops, Patti LaBelle, and Don Rickles.  Though diverse in its musical styles, The Hip Pocket specializes in music made popular by bands such as Chicago, Tower of Power, and Earth, Wind & Fire.  The ten-piece band also often performs many hits from the Big Band and MoTown eras.
